Traumatic spondylolisthesis of the lumbosacral spine in children treatment with a molded Luque bar

ABSTRACT

The traumatic lumbosacral spondylolisthesis in children are not very common and a lot of surgical techniques have been described to treat them, some with internal fixation and others with external fixation. The authors present in this paper a new surgical technique for treatment of the traumatic lumbosacral spondylolisthesis with a Luques’s bar modified in form of focked stick by Milán/Olalde/Viveros. A 14 years old girl underwent a internal fixation for a lumbosacral spondylolisthesis G III with a modified Luque’s bar by Milán/Olalde/Viveros in the Children Hospital in Morelia. The follow-up after 8 months is very good.
