Discrepancies, blood system ABH.

ABSTRACT

The ABH (ABO) blood system is the most important since its discovery in 1900, however it still is one of the first causes of death due to transfusional mistakes. Taking care in its determination is vital to reduce this impact, that is why we must perform the procedure completely and correctly so this would help us to detect on time any discrepancies; this is how we’ll be able to avoid a mistaken report. The medical history of the patient and the results given by the laboratory will solve any problem found on the report. In the end we will deliver the product with the appropriate blood group.
