Key words:

eyeball luxation, treatment.

ABSTRACT

Ocular globe luxation is an infrequent and rare condition provoked by the orbicular muscle spasm with a consequent outward displacement of the eye so the eyelids goes behind it preventing the normal position of the eye, it also impedes the ocular normal movements and may determine irreversible functional changes. We report a case of a 14 year old patient who had ocular globe luxation and experienced a blunt trauma and dislocation of the eye, however early surgical treatment relief symptoms and restores the visual function.
