ABSTRACT

It is introduced the case of a 3 year-old patient diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus treated for the first time in Zacatecas with percutaneous approach. With an Amplatzer device of 8 x 6 mm showing a 100% occlusion immediately after the procedure. The follow-up echocardiography in a one-week period showed complete occlusion.
