ABSTRACT

The history of the hospital of Tehuacán, the second city importance in Puebla State, began in 1744, when the Hospital de San Juan de Dios (Hospital of St. John) was founded; in 1820, it was converted into the Municipal of Civil Hospital. The medical stablishement continues to provide services to the poor to this day annual also covers health public workers of services for the municipality.
