ABSTRACT

Esophageal duplication cyst is a rare congenital alteration. Most of these cysts are asymptomatic and are usually identified as an incidental finding. These lesions can develop complications (bleeding, infection) and even malignant degeneration. Consequently, the treatment of choice is surgical.
