ABSTRACT

Congenital ureteral valves are rare anomalies, they resemble other malformations such as ureteropielic or ureterovesical stenoses. We report two cases, one was treated with an endourological procedure and the other with conventional surgery. We review the embryological developmental theories, the different locations, the diagnostic criteria and associated anomalies. Both types of treatment were successful.
