ABSTRACT

Introduction: Recidivate Hypospadias is a serious problem in patients with previous surgeries. The objective of the present work is to present results making one neourethroplasty in two stages.
Material and Methods: They put under urethral reconstruction the patient that presented multiple failed repair of hypospadias.
Results: Fourteen patients were reconstructed, we used island flap tabularized of residual foreskin, in two stages and time of retardation, the complications were urethrocutaneus fistula and stenosis of the meatus.
Discussion: The problem of hypospadias recidivates is a bad quality of tissues, ventral curvature, fibrosis and problems in the healing. Making the repair in two stages and retardation has 4 basic principles: vascular, the time of retardation, endless catheter and trauma of urinary flow. With this we promoted a suitable healing with minimum retraction of neourethra and minimized complications.
Conclusions: The reconstruction of hypospadias secondary in two stages, improves the results with minimum complications.
