ABSTRACT

Bilateral paranasal sinus mucoceles are rare. To date, only five cases have been reported in the English-language literature. All were bilaterally symmetrical. This patient had a symptomatic bilateral frontoethmoidal mucocele with bilateral orbital involvement with orbital extension and presented bilateral proptosis and exotropia with marked deformity. We present the first case in Mexico and Spanish-language literature of a bilateral frontoethmoidal symmetric mucocele.
