ABSTRACT

The medical attention of the women in the different groups of age is of vital importance for the prevention and detection of the main illnesses that affects them, seeking a decrease in the morbidity and mortality, mainly in women 65 years old or older. Two purposes are pursued: primary prevention, to identify and control the risk factors of the disease allowing the avoidance of its presentation; and the secondary prevention for the precocious detection of the illness and, by doing this, reducing the morbidity and mortality of the patients.
