ABSTRACT

Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are a harmful and unintended response to a drug administered therapeutically at recommended doses. The oral cavity can be a relatively common site in which to observe this type of drug reaction manifesting as a stomatitis medicamentosa, hence it is importance for general practice dentists to know how to diagnose them correctly, and avoid overtreatment. In this study, we look at a case of ADR in the buccal mucosa.
