Tinea for Trichophyton tonsurans in diverse topographies. Review

ABSTRACT

We present the case the case of a 11 year-old girl, with hands onychomycosis, head and body ringworm by Trichophyton tonsurans. The interest of this comunication is due to the low association frequency of this dermatophytosis on immunocompetent patients on pediatric age, as well as the chronicity to stablish a good diagnose of head ringworn, which was the primary focus, and the good response to treatment with oral terbinafine.
