Carcinoma hepatocelular en un paciente con esferocitosis hereditaria. Reporte de caso

ABSTRACT

A 73 years old male case is presented. He was evaluated by fever, enlargement of liver, weight lose, jaundice, malaise and abdominal pain. He suffers hereditary spherocytosis that required of splenectomy and blood transfusion during the infancy; also suffer diabetes mellitus type 2 and hypertension arterial systemic. In the initial evaluation it found jaundice, liver enlargement and pain, edema of the lower extremities. The laboratory test found bilirrubin, TGO, TGP, alphaphetoprotein elevated. The CT reported tumor involving the right lobe of the liver and the biopsy reported hepatocellular carcinoma.
