ABSTRACT

Throughout more than three decades, the programs that are taught at the Psychology Department of the Iztacala Institute of Higher Learning have experienced a number of transformations which aim to capture the diverse theoretical and methodological approaches to the realm of psychology as well as the most efficient processes for the preparation and updating of faculty members. The objective of this paper is to account for the formation process that enabled the development of the different programs that are taught at Iztacala in the spheres of theory of social sciences and theory of social psychology.
