ABSTRACT

The diagnosis of Gorham-Stout disease is mainly made by exclusion. It was described by Jackson in 1838, and classified by some authors as one of the kind of idiopathic osteolysis. It is an aggressive clinical entity of unknown etiology, with unpredictable evolution, depending on bone destruction. This paper reports the case of a patient with this disease and makes a literature review.
