ABSTRACT

The report case of a previously healthy adult, who presented with transverse myelitis with sensitive damage after a viral infection due to dengue and who was admitted in "Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso" Teaching Genera l Hospital from Santiago de Cuba is described, where an spastic paraplegia was diagnosed and he received rehabilitation treatment. After 7 months under intensive physiotherapy, the patient's motor function continues progressing and the neurological recovery has not been completed.
