ABSTRACT

Ogilvie's Syndrome or of colonic pseudo obstruction appears as an entity that affects principally 50 year old major persons without an organic recognizable reason, in a reversible and transitory way. lt relates in most of the times to some adjacent disease. The majority of the times the suffering can manage in a conservative way with general measures and of support; nevertheless, in a small percentage it appears as some complication that deserves invasive and even surgical treatment.
