ABSTRACT

Advances in diagnosis and treatment of venous disease has allowed to point out the new terminology, the agreement was anatomically the need to unify other physiological and clinical terms, gradually appeared in the online documents. Some words when translated from English to Castilian hold some ambiguity which may create difficulties in the description and interpretation of findings, and even lead to therapeutic errors. The purpose of this publication is to resolve these inconsistencies translation product, unify terms in Castilian and abolish the use of eponyms. Unify some terms that are redundant and presents a list tailored to the objectives of the applicability of consensus with clinical and pathophysiological terminology to speak the same language and act in line with trends in Phlebology.
