ABSTRACT

The acquired experiences along the evaluation and accreditation process of the master’s degree programs were analyzed in the Medical Sciences University from Santiago de Cuba, which begun in 2007 with that of Primary Health Care and for which results the category of Ratified was awarded in that year, but soon in 2011 the category of Excellent was awarded; likewise, that of Health Economy in 2010, Public Health in 2011 and Diagnostic Means in 2012 obtained the condition of Certified. The master’s degrees have reached a territorial character and the investigations carried out by the health professionals, while moving through the different stages of each modality, they have had a medical and social impact in the eastern provinces.
