ABSTRACT

Background: The multiple myeloma was described for the first time by Rustizky in the year 1873 in frequent in patients over 65 years old and the serious ways of the disease are not very frequent. Case presentation: A 45 year old patient who came to consultation complaining of recurrent infections and lumbar pain was reported and it was diagnosed in the results of the lab studies of multiple myeloma of leukemia type of primary plasmatic cells with plasmoblastic morphology. Conclusions: The patient evolved unfavorably until her decease.
