ABSTRACT

This paper deals with the emergence of methodological work in the Ministry of Public Health in Cuba, and refers to the people who worked in this field at the beginning, both at ministerial level and in the different centers and provinces. The characteristics of this work at the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara and in the faculties that derived from it are dealt with in greater depth.
