ABSTRACT

The discovery of nanotechnology and the development of nano structures applied to the investigation of different diseases have opened the possibility to innovate in the field of physiopathology in a way that in the past was inaccessible. Besides this, the inclusion of diagnostic and therapeutic tools allows the possibility to prescribe specific treatments taking genetic resources of patients and monitoring other factors that have an impact in therapeutic response and its prognosis, which results in the application of a personalized medicine.
