ABSTRACT

Pyoderma gangrenosum is an extraintestinal manifestation of inflammatory bowel disease, this ulcerative disorder corresponds to a group of neutrophilic dermatoses. It is presented in 20% of patients with Crohn’s disease and in 5% of patients with ulcerative colitis, moreover 50% of all gangrenous pyoderma associated with inflammatory bowel disease. The first lines of treatment are systemic corticosteroids, but nowadays biological therapy with infliximab and adalimumab has shown good results.
