ABSTRACT

Antecedents: There are few studies made in the dentistry that have identified factors associated to the therapeutic attachment. Objective: To identify the main factors that influence the therapeutic adhesion in children with prolonged dental treatment. Method: study observational, prolective, cross-sectional and descriptive, the sample is formed by 30 patients who went to the multidisciplinary Clinic “Reforma UNAM” and were taken care of by the students of the specialty in dentistry for the boy and the adolescent. Instrument used, questionnaire. Results: It was identified the economic factor like the main one for therapeutic disattachment. Conclusions: In chronic diseases as caries and malocclusions the average of therapeutic disattachment is 50%.
