ABSTRACT

Ocular melanoma is the neoplasm transformation of melanocytes from the uvea, although it is a rare cancer, “is the primary malignant intraocular tumor more common in adults and has a high incidence of metastasis”. “The investigation of ocular melanoma prognostic factors is important for patient management and to understand the biological processes that influence the ability of tumors to metastasize hematogenously”. The ocular melanoma prognosis depends mainly on their clinical characteristics and histopatológicas.
