ABSTRACT

Granular parakeratosis is a benign dermatosis, described since 1991, related to reactions associated with the use of antiperspirants and local occlusion. It presents as erythematous hyperkeratotic papules and plaques that come together forming a reticulated patern. This condition is more frequent in middle-aged women, affects the folds and particularly the arm. We present a 7-month-old boy with granular parakeratosis inguinal, with a good response to the treatment.
