ABSTRACT

We present here a very uncommon complication of twin pregnancy; acardius and acephalus fetus, where the early diagnosis by ultrasound lead to a good ending in the normal twin. The mother was a healthy 34 years old female with 4 healthy children. The ultrasound played a very important roll; not only in the detection; but in the good outcome of the normal twin.
