ABSTRACT

Yellow nail syndrome is characterized by the triad of yellow nails, lymphedema and pleuropulmonary abnormalities. However, the triad is fulfilled only in 23.4% of patients. The diagnosis is made with the presence of two of these symptoms. Associated with systemic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, malignancy, cardiovascular and kidney diseases. We present the case of a patient of 60 years with chronic cough, bronchiectasis, nails dark yellow-green color and the presence of nephrotic syndrome. The association between yellow nail syndrome and renal disease is rare.
