ABSTRACT

The ulcers for pressure (UPP) are stopping being a problem in invisible and undervalued health. These are a problem in first order, whose magnitude for the patients, the services of health and the society in general does that you should be considered like a problem of public health and needs, therefore, all of the means and necessary resources to combat them. In Restauración's International Center Neurological (CIREN), where they rehabilitate patients with neurological sequel, we have a varied incidence of these, which constitutes a complication that hinders the process. The patient receives a multi-disciplinary team's attention, therefore, you are important to establish the standards of acting for the treatment of them same, for the sake of making easy the overtaking in the opportune treatment of the patients with UPP. Accomplish a study of bibliographic updated revision, and of another protocols, as well as the interview to experts, at a later time he came from to the wording protocol adjusting to the established standards and to human resources and existent materials at our institution, complementing it with the algorithm of work.
