ABSTRACT

Galeno Vein Aneurysm is truly en AV fistulae with a direct comunication between pial arteries and veins that drein directly to the Galeno Vein. This patologhy may be found with or without cardiac failure or with other neurological conditions. The different imaging modalities such as US, CT, Doppler; IRM, are used to the Diagnosis. The Golden standard is still the DS Angiography. It can be used not only as a diagnosis tool but the pathway to embolization.
