Androgenetic alopecia, prostatic hyperplasia.

ABSTRACT

Recent studies suggest that, more than a cosmetic problem, baldness should be regarded as a predictor of benign prostatic hyperplasia, as both entities are androgen- and age-dependent.
Following is the discussion of an exploratory study aimed at establishing a relationship between androgenetic alopecia and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
