ABSTRACT

The computer and the software as teaching aids are very useful for professors to prepare and develop their classes, that’s why, it was designed a software of the Biomedical Bibliography subject throughout Mediator 9.0 application, just to reinforce and enlarge the fourth year students´ knowledge in the Health Information Systems major. It was carried out an applied and prospective research (about Technological Development) at Simón Bolívar Health Technology Institute, applying mainly the Historical-Logical, the Document Revision and the Modelling methods. For this work, it was taken into account the students criteria about design, new motivation forms and multimedia sources selection. It was also taken into consideration the development of some engineering elements of software which are applied in the technological chart of this product. This research is of a great importance for the lessons of the specialty, because it is a mean of great motivation and learning for them. It also allows a better management and work with the information and facilitates the professors and students´ preparation at any time.
