Lichen planus with palmoplantar involvement: A case report and literature review

ABSTRACT

Lichen planus is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis. Palmoplantar affection is an infrequent variety, predominating in males. It shows with a diversity of morphological patterns, that leads to many differential diagnoses. Histopathology is essential for diagnosis. A 45 year-old female is reported and a review of the literature of this unusual localization.
