ABSTRACT

Dermatitis herpetiformis (DH) is the cutaneous manifestation of gluten-sensitive disease which affects predominantly European residents and affects men more frequently than woman. The onset age is between second and fourth decades of life. DH is a vesicle disease of skin, intensely pruritic and polimorfous. Diagnosis includes clinical findings, subepidermic neutrophilic infiltrate and papillary tips of IgA deposits. Treatment includes gluten-free diet and sulfonas.
