ABSTRACT

Mymercia is a special mount generated by a verruca on the palm of hands or the plant of feet. Its morphological aspect is shown as an endophytic or exophytic lesion with a hyperkeratotic collar (helioma), or a painful and hard hyperkeratotic area. Sometimes, this epidermal proliferation can reach the tendons, fascia and bones, the later can cause chronic erosions. In concern to the premise deduced from the knowledge from the extra-genital warts, the plantar ones are the most resistant to treatment. It is well known nowadays that the numerous local treatments lack a scientific support, so patients seen by dermatologists are usually the ones not satisfied by the previous two treatments or its complications.
