ABSTRACT

We report the case of a politraumatic patient who need the implantation of a tibial and hip prostheses. He refered intolerance to several metals and we considered to make a patch test to metals. This test was positive to nickel, chromium, cobalt and manganeseo. So we could chose the best prostheses for this patient, trying to prevent allergic skin reactions and implant failure.
