ABSTRACT

Dupuytren’s contracture is a rare connective tissue disorder due to proliferation of fibroblasts, causing a nodular thickening (fibromatosis) of the palmar fascia. It can be seen mainly in patients with diabetes mellitus, in alcoholics and in convulsive diseases.
We report a case of a 65 year-old woman with a 5-year history of diabetes mellitus type 2 and Dupuytren’ contracture on both palms.
