ABSTRACT

The present article is oriented to the conformation of a convergent paradigm based on the attained results as well as the processes in which Health Technology is involed. Thus, the epistemiological approval and disapproval of its theoretical backgrounds has offered opportunities to profile from the theoretical- methodological level, an authentic conception of this branch of health. The study highlights the logical internal coherence that can be infered from the health professionals´recognition of the agreements and consensus revealed during the research. Besides, it constitutes a reference source for our researchers because it does not only shows authors and specialist'viewpoints on the topic, but also helps gather and systematize the scientific efforts and achievements to define the term: Health Technology, with the purpose of creating a technological and innovation culture beyond the health standars and life quality.
