ABSTRACT

The Netherton syndrome is a disease with autosomal recessive inheritance, characterized by three major features: icthyosis, atopy and hair structural defects. None of all cases the three clinical manifestations appear simultaneously, so it is sometimes difficult to obtain the correct diagnosis. We present two cases on Netherton syndrome, an extremely rare pathology.
