ABSTRACT

In the last two years, 67% of the 6,983 students taking postgraduate courses at the Medical School, UNAM, have been evaluated at the end of their third year of residency in 31 specialties. Preparation of the procedure of evaluation was the task of Academic Committees on different fields which came out with 28,500 items to make out 81 exams applied in 12 different dates to all hospital residents. Also an item bank was established which will be very helpful in coming years.
