ABSTRACT

Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) is a reversible obstructive lung disease caused by fungi infection in the breathing airways. ABPA has been highly associated with inflammatory and atopic diseases such as asthma and cystic fibrosis. Symptomatology includes wheeziness, cough, dyspnea, fever and brown sputum. Physical examination and clinical history are vital in the diagnosis such as complementary studies with laboratories and radiological images.
