CHAEA-36: Adaptation of questionnaire Honey-Alonso of learning style for student of Physical Education of Chile

ABSTRACTThe aim of the present study is to reduce the number of items of the Questionnaire Honey-Alonso of learning styles (CHAEA), supporting the psychometric properties of the instrument. For the questionnaire it was applied to 160 students of Pedagogy in Physical Education of the University of Chile SEK. The results show that it is possible to reduce the CHAEA to 36 items, with 9 for every learning style, supporting values of reliability and validity of every sub-scale similar to that of the original test. In addition the results obtained on having compared the learning styles between female and males and on having compared for courses are similar with the original questionnaire and with the CHAEA- 36. It is necessary in new research students of Pedagogy in Physical Education from other universities and other academic careers.
