ABSTRACT

Ultrasound is a unique tool which provides the anesthesiologist with diagnostic and monitoring capabilities enabling optimization of perioperative management. The ultrasound is the third eye of the anesthesiologist that helps in the performance of previously blind procedures like epidural blockade.
