umbilical polyp, omphalomesenteric duct, umbilical granuloma, urachal anomalies.

ABSTRACT

Anterior abdominal wall defects are the fourth most common congenital malformation in the pediatric population, being the umbilical anomalies the most relevant. The umbilical polyp is a rare congenital lesion, resulting from the persistence of the distal end of the omphalomesenteric duct and their main differential diagnosis is the umbilical granuloma. We report a child with an umbilical polyp and another one with an umbilical granuloma.
