ABSTRACT

The aim this study was to evaluate the possible relationship between job stress and everyday stress. The difference between these stresses is the scope where they occur, the first case in work situations in different contexts, as a second, home, the mall, among others. The study was conducted on a sample of volunteers (non-random), 102 in total. Measuring instruments was, job stress scale with acceptable levels of reliability and everyday stress abbreviated scale with high reliability. The results showed that there is no relationship between these stresses, which accept our working hypothesis. The results are discussed from the point of view of the theory and underlying methodological problems.
