Cutaneous mycosis are extraordinary common in clinical practice, affecting skin, hair or nails. The most frequently involved pathogens in the immunocompetent child are dermatophytes, that will be exposed in this part of the document, and yeasts. Diagnose is mostly clinic, although laboratory confirmation is recommended in few particular cases. Treatment is mainly topical, yet some extensive or severe infections may need systemic and prolonged treatment.
