ABSTRACT

Hospital Juárez de México began The Transplant Program in 1991, in this same year the first kidney transplant of related living donor was successfully done, and in 1993 the first procurement of a death donor. From 1991 to 2004, 703 kidney, cornea and bony marrow transplants had been done. At these days, 72 professionals of health specialized in different are involved directly in the General Transplant Program, this means a great effort after making a whole group of working with real characteristics of “team work” and not individual work.
