ABSTRACT

The development of science, as well as the complexity of the issues it faces, has made it necessary for the solution of a problem to converge the knowledge of various disciplines. A joint view that from the vision of a single approach would be insufficient, motivated the emergence of interdisciplinarity which is one of the essential aspects in the current scientific development. The explanation of social and professional problems is not conceived from a scientific conception, without the interaction of related approaches and the adoption of collaborative relationships with common objectives. For the development of contemporary nursing as a science, the application of the interdisciplinary approach is an urgency. It is not possible to advance in the consolidation of the profession but it is updated the way of analyzing its essence. This article aims to: Reflect on the need to strengthen the interdisciplinary conception during the training of the student of the Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Resulting from the use of theoretical-level inquiries such as the historical-logical method, the system approach and the documentary analysis of scientific texts on interdisciplinarity, as part of the conceptual framework of a doctoral research.
