ABSTRACT

Bullying is a broad concept that encompasses different types of abuse, including physical, verbal and modal, which are faced by schoolchildren, who are subjected to cruel treatment and submission, violating the dignity of the child, through Threats that seek to impress him in a negative way. The present paper aims to describe the manifestations of bullying in adolescents aged 12 to 15 years of the Cumbe Educational Institution, belonging to a rural parish in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador. The Cisneros Self-Assessment of School Harassment was applied to 108 students; It was identified that the risks to which students are most exposed are to be victims of coercion, restriction and communication, assault and robbery and a global index of harassment at medium to very high levels was identified, especially in female adolescent.
