El autismo infantil y la falta de sostenimiento emocional Estudio de caso

ABSTRACT
The main object of this work is to analyze a case that
presents the relation between the lack of emotional
sustainability and the generation of a psychotic break
in a specific case. The work has been done during
nine therapeutic sessions with a ten-year-old autistic
child, the work is based in the psychoanalytic theory of
Margaret Mahler. A qualitative research methodology
was used within narrative studies to analyze a
case, having as analysis categories the issues with
communication, socialization, and cognitive problems;
having like axis of study the lack of emotional support
of the mother of the infant. The case analysis proves
the deep deficit of emotional support on the part
of the mother and her contribution to the autistic
development in the child. It is concluded that the
mother can not provide emotional support because she
herself is split.
